Internet Computer (ICP) Pumps 100%? More Like 100% Bullshit.
Okay, so Internet Computer (ICP) is "up" 100% in a week? Give me a break. The whole damn crypto market is a casino, and this just feels like another rigged game.
Hype Train or Hype Job?
Analysts are drooling, naturally. "A clean weekly reclaim above $6.5+ flips the macro structure bullish," some X user named Captain Faibik bleats. Right. Translation: "I need you to buy my bags so I can dump on you."
And this "Caffeine" AI platform from DFINITY? Please. Every crypto project is slapping "AI" onto their garbage tech to get a pump. It's the new ICO, except instead of vaporware, it's vapor-AI. What's the actual use case here? Are people REALLY building killer apps on the Internet Computer blockchain, or is it just bots trading ICP back and forth to goose the price?
CryptoBoss thinks it'll hit $15? LSD is "adding ICP" to their portfolio? Great for them. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here wondering if anyone remembers that ICP was supposed to be the "future of the internet." Remember that? The decentralized, censorship-resistant utopia? Where's that been the last few years? Oh right, crashing and burning.
The article mentions some "multi-year bear cycle." Yeah, that's what happens when your tech is overhyped, under-delivered, and nobody actually uses it.

The Oversold Oversell
Oh, but wait, there's more! The RSI is over 70, meaning it's overbought. So, basically, it's due for a massive correction. But don't worry, the "analysts" will be there to tell you to "buy the dip." It's a beautiful cycle of delusion and wealth transfer, ain't it?
And this whole narrative about ICP being a "safe haven" because it doesn't need bridges and is therefore immune to hacks? That's laughable. Every blockchain has vulnerabilities. It's just a matter of time before someone finds ICP's. I'm not saying it will happen, offcourse, but the hubris is astounding.
I saw one article brag about a 31% pump. Whoop-dee-doo. Internet Computer (ICP) Bulls Shatter Bearish Momentum Amid 31% Pump: Resistance in Focus
Social Media Shenanigans
LunarCrush data shows "4.85K posts and 2.21 million interactions mentioning Internet Computer." Okay, but how many of those are real people, and how many are bots? How many are paid shills? How many are just desperate bagholders trying to pump their investment?
I'm not saying ICP is a complete scam. Maybe there's something there. Maybe the tech is actually good, and I'm just being a cynical jerk. Then again, maybe I'm not. Maybe the whole thing is just a house of cards waiting to collapse.
So, What's the Real Story?
It's all smoke and mirrors, people. Don't get rekt.
